This week (10 -13th July), over 80 coaches from 14 countries will travel to Madrid, Spain, for the first in-person conference of our Judo Intellectual Disability Project (JIDP).
Over the past 18 months, these dedicated coaches have been working through the first four online phases of our comprehensive adapted judo coach development programme—laying a strong foundation for inclusive excellence in our sport.
Hosted by the Spanish Judo Federation, the JIDP Madrid Conference will feature seminars and practical workshops aimed at shaping the next generation of professional adapted judo coaches. This landmark event marks a major milestone in our shared mission to meet the growing global demand for adapted judo and to expand opportunities for all athletes.
Stay tuned for updates from this inspiring international gathering of passionate minds and committed changemakers!
